Daze launches Kickstarter campaign

Daze Magazine has launched a Kickstarter campaign for $2,200.

We’re looking for funding to help us out with some of the initial costs of getting the website up and running. Our funding breakdown is as follows:

  • $1,500 to pay freelancers for 30 stories for the first two months at $50 per 500 word piece. This does not include the pieces we will write.
  • $100 for the guy who helped us make the website. Thanks John!
  • $227.55 for web hosting, etc.
  • $200 for the guy who made our logo. Thanks Mitch!
  • Then, the remaining $170 or so is to pay Kickstarter.

We also have some nifty rewards up for grabs, including free admission to an upcoming Daze event for anyone who donates over $20, and a shiny Daze pin and an editor meet-and-greet for anyone who donates over $50.

If you can’t help us out with a monetary donation (which we totally understand), consider helping us out by sharing the link to the Kickstarter, telling your friends about us, and sharing Daze stories on social media.

The campaign will run until Feb. 21 at 3 p.m.

Thank you for all of your support!
